Ethereal Shroud - Trisagion

This album is absolutely outstanding. Gay Spotify blurb aside, the ability and songwriting nous this cunt has beggars belief. 20 minute choon goes by like a breath of wind. Phenomenal.

Special album, agreed. I haven't checked out yer man's earlier stuff, or indeed his other projects. Have you?

Marilyn Manson - Antichrist Superstar. I know he's got that rapey thing hanging over him these days and his music was long since gone to shit anyway but this is still a decent album. The stink of NIN off it helps a lot. This and some of Mechanical Animals and Smells Like Children is all I'd be arsed with actually, the rest is useless.

I played that to death at the time, but it's a decent one alright. Mechanical Animals is the only one I'd bother with these days, nice and sleazy.

Yes, it's the definitive death metal album.

I still like Antichrist Superstar and Portrait, to a lesser extent. Mechanical Animals is when I gave up on him. I wanted heavy. Went back to it last year and enjoyed it more but no interest to return.
