Mayhem - Live in Jessheim, Sarpsbourg, Leipzig and Zeitz

Blind Guardian - Beyond the Red Mirror

BG are one of my guilty pleasures, blasting this out now and having a few brews in celebration of the rugby win!

Repulsion:  'Horrified'

Been on a grind buzz lately and this one always hits the spot.

Jesu - Self Titled. Like listening to manic depression.

I'm  a big fan of Jesu's "Sun Rise/Sun Down" EP. Was lucky enough to pick it up on vinyl.

Scanner - Hypertrace

Every beat is like a shovel of earth into a fresh grave. I'll be putting it on today.

Had the Palms album on in the car today it's decent

Clouds - Dor

First spin, it's alright not blowing me away. Will give it another go this evening.

I was listening to Clouds - Doliu recently, excellent album. Must pick up the new one soon.

As for today, had Blood Incantation - Starspawn playing earlier, one of my favourite death metal bands at present.

The New Kever ( EP ) Primordial Offerings.  Is  an enjoyable listen

Actually had this on myself a few nights ago.
Find it really enjoyable now and again. Can't understand why so many outright hate it.

Seen a few lads giving out about this online lately, always thought it was class too.  Some really excellent bits of music throughout but the last tune on it always stands out in my mind.  The sort of droning outro for the album is outstanding, even thinking about it is raising the hairs on my neck.

Love that Palms album. Isis with Chino Moreno singing like, how can you go wrong?

Currently listening to Elder - Lore. Its ochoill's fault for showing me this album

Love that album, think they hit their peak there though.  That and Dead Roots Stirring are top quality proggy stoner rock, the newest album is pretty good too but not half as memorable as either of those unfortunately.

The metal part of this morning's commute alternated between Reversed "Widow Recluse" and Wrong's "Feel Great"

I didn't know anybody didn't like the Palms album.

I'm listening to Arkhon Infaustus - Perdition Insanabilis this minute and it's brilliant. I throw it on every few months when i remember it and i'm always delighted with it.

I had the new Failure album on a few times before that and while it is interesting stuff, it is certainly not metal
