On a Judas Iscariot buzz recently. Listened to Thy Dying Light, Distant in Solitary Night and Dethroned Conquered & Forgotten over the weekend.

There's something oddly compelling about Judas Iscariot's music. It's generic black metal, but there are sublime moments within the monotony. He's like a poppier Ildjarn.

Not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not, but personally, overall I prefer the later Type O albums to Bloody Kisses and October Rust. 

I am a big fan of 'Slow Deep And Hard' too, although that was essentially leftover Carnivore tunes, and I'm a huge Carnivore fan.
