When was the last time Terror played here? Last time I saw them in Ireland was 2012 I think and I don't remember them playing after that. Another band that tours non stop yet avoids Ireland like the plague. Any time they did play here the shows were packed.

As good as that Terror are, this was the real Terror.

Toledo Steel - The First Strike of Steel
Running Wild - The First Years of Piracy
Coltre - To Watch With Hands... To Touch With Eyes
Woods of Ypres - Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth

Spirit Caravan - The Last Embrace.

Think it was 2011.

Yeah it's weird that a load of the Hardcore package tour bands rarely play here. Always France and Germany.

Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere.

Have deliberately avoided it for a while now to let it bed in a bit. This is something akin to finally getting my ears around the likes of Human, Focus, Unquestionable Presence.

Will see how I feel in a year or so, but this thing is set to be one of my all-timers.

Judas Priest - Stained Class

Blazon Rites - Endless Halls of Golden Totem
The Gates of Slumber - The Gates of Slumber
Evergrey - Escape of the Phoenix
Blind Guardian - Follow the Blind
My Dying Bride - Songs of Darkness, Words of Light

Old Wainds- Oбжигающий холодный. I remember seeing this CD for sale in Tower back in, I suppose, '05. I didn't pick it up for some reason- the logo and artwork were a bit of a non- event perhaps, but I'm really enjoying it here now. Rough as fuck, rehearsal level production, or a little more than that but not much more. But the atmosphere is good and the music is very effective. I think I'm going to pick up some of their CDs from Discogs next payday as they are going for normal prices. As an aside, I remember there being quite a decent amount of black metal for sale in Tower back then. I wonder who was working there and ordering in good stuff.

Kat- 666. Such a deadly album. The vocals are so unique.

I have an Old Wainds here somewhere. Scalding Coldness off the top of my head? Been a while since i had it out but my impression was that it was perfectly solid and serviceable pure BM.

This is a great listen and I could do with getting more Taake in my life.

I never picked up any Taake.

Very late to the party on these, but I've just started on Cathederal and I'm in love.

Currently just flat out on "Forest of Equilibrium"
Play the Academy July 13th

Mefitis - The Skorian / The Greyleer

Only hearing this now, but this is definitely album of the year for me. Mefitis never fail to floor me.

Defeated Sanity - Chronicles of Lunacy
