Halford: Crucible (2002).

Need to get this and 'Resurrection'. Is the Halford band still a thing?.

Officially they are still a band. 'III Winter Songs' and 'IV Made Of Metal' are nowhere near as good as the first two IMO.

The live albums and videos are excellent though, if you can get your hands on them, especially 'Live Insurrection' and the 'Live At Rock In Rio III' DVD.

RAZOR - Evil Invaders (1985)

THE GATHERING - Always... (1992)

Suddenly got the urge to listen to this for some reason. Thoroughly enjoying it too.

Funnily enough i've been playing Always... recently.  Seriously good album.

Wheel - Charismatic Leaders (this one hasn't captured me like their previous album).

Paradise Lost - Shades of God

Below - Across the Dark River

Freeways - True Bearings (both this and their new album have really been catching my ear).

I didn't listen to it much back in the 90's at all, but I revisited it in the last few years and I was surprised at just how good it is.

N.P. - TAU CROSS - Tau Cross (2015)

I'm gonna have to just post this out of pure metal up your hole necessity. First off have to say, I may love Judas Priest and Halford himself. But his solo stuff between HALFORD, Fight (his PANTERA Groove rip off band) & 2wo (his industrial project with John5 on guitar- is worse than Tom Warrior's Apollyon Sun project...well; nearly as bad-that really is fuckin dreadful) for me; is very hit and miss indeed sadly. Not that there isn't enough Priest already to enjoy but whatever.

BUT this fucking track from the HALFORD Made Of Metal album "The Mower" I think is one of Halford's best vocal performances ever, including rivalling his best shining moments in Priest. The fuckin vocals toward the ending and at the very brutal end are savage. Also I like the song he did with PANTERA back in the day from the Buffy soundtrack I believe "Light Comes Out Of Black" which is prob my fav 2nd outside Priest moment.

By the way any copy of The Mower like the one I linked (I checked a few) on youtube sound very shit, lower in volume/depth and overly compressed reduced of impact considerably compared to the clarity of a CDRip or true 320/flac copy for whatever its worth.

I'm still holding out on him doing this long teased and well overdue if you're gonna say it's happening ffs extreme/black metal project he was/is hopefully planning on doing with IHSAHN.

I'm a big AMEBIX fan from back in the day. I kinda like some TAU CROSS too from what I've heard...but wasn't there some serious controversy rightfully over the main dude being a fuckin holocaust denier or something; causing the band or the rest of the band to quit? That would turn me off a bit. I mean how the fuck can you deny it happened. Maybe at a push you can say it was embellished just slightly by the Jews but it certainly was a fuckin unholy unforgivable atrocity no sane conscientious person should be "denying" other than to be a dickhead.

Testament - Best of.  Don't get the hype around this band at all.  I bought a 2nd hand tape of Live in Eindhoven more than 30 years.  At least 1 good track on it 'Over the Wall'.  Good musicians probably but no catchiness to their songs

Testaments' debut is a deadly record, always loved it, and I like the next two albums but after that they don't interest me at all.

Boundless Chaos - Sinister Upheaval

Stress Angel - Bursting Church

Anciients - Heart of Oak (this is my new lunch time gardening music - maybe the last track doesn't get the attention it deserves as I am usually rushing to make a sandwich and get back to the desk).

Venom - Welcome to Hell

Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier
Some good tunes on The Final Frontier but a bit of a slog to get through.

Bruce Dickinson - The Chemical Wedding
Never bothered with any of Brucey's solo stuff. I was probably too busy listening to Mechanical Animals or some other shite. The Chemical Wedding is a great album. I must give Accident of Birth a listen.

Noxis - Violence Inherent in the System
Gjendød - Livskramper

Probably worth checking out Tyranny of Souls by old Bruce as well.  The two you mentioned and this one are great and the pick of his solo stuff.

The new one is ok.  Probably just not as consistent across the whole album as those three.  The earlier stuff is iffy but a few gems hidden amongst the drose.  The song he did with Mr Bean is probably to be avoided.

Speaking of Testament; The Gathering album was released 25 years ago today.A proper banger of an album!

Mayhem - wolf lairs abyss

Does anyone know if euronymous wrote the opening riff for Ancient Skin? Seems like such a Euro riff.
