Black Crown Initiate - Song of the Crippled Bull

I enjoyed most of their later stuff, but don't think they ever topped this ep

Spread Eagle - s/t
The Cult - Beyond Good and Evil
Baroness - Red & Blue

Heresiarch - Waelwulf
Coscradh - Mesradh Machae
Malthusian - MMXIII
At The Gates - Gardens of Grief

In the mood for some demented EP's today.

High On Fire - Cometh the Storm.

Decent enough caveman metal so far. Des Kensel not being behind the kit sure does make them sound different.

Have that on myself at the moment, quite enjoying it, new drummer sounds good.

JUDAS PRIEST - Rocka Rolla (1974)

D.A.M. - Human Wreckage

Hey buddy can you spare a dime?
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Beherit- Drawing Down the Moon. Finally getting to spin my NWN LP. Looks unreal and I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but it sounds better than my Primitive Reaction edition. I'll have to suss out of it has been taken from another source or remastered. It sounds thicker and heavier yet clearer. Also the artwork is different. The album cover is actually a different photo of the Moon, a different part of it with extra glares on the image. I thought it was just a clearer image but it's a completely different photo. The photo of the lake on the back is different too, and apparently the original one used.

Moonlight Sorcery - Piercing Through The Frozen Eternity
Saxon - Hell, Fire and Damnation (aside from a few crap lyrics, think this a really solid album)
Necrophobic - In The Twilight Grey
Metalucifer - Heavy Metal Tank
Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times

Motörhead- Overkill. Sounds good on first spin.
Acid- Maniac. Sounds deadly on first spin. The lyrics are gas, Jesus.

"Maniac, you dirty villain,
Where does it get you, all that killin"

VOIVOD - Rrröööaaarrr (1986)

Yeah it's Coady Willis of Big Business/Melvins. Different style to Kensel, but I think he's a good fit.

Gave the album another whirl this morning, enjoying it for sure.
