Not sure if it's been mentioned but just finished 'Slave to the grind' on youtube, pretty decent, nothing groundbreaking but an entertaining watch, covers a good mix of bands. Never heard of Deche Charged and won't be checking them out but interesting to see how insane of a concept it is to not have songs but play live.

Didn't know about the Killing Joke doc, good shout Matt. Watching it now. Mad seeing Jimmy Page singing their praises.

I've a big list of music docs on YouTube I could post, very little metal on it tho.

Enormous fan of Geordie's playing so really enjoyed the little bit where he explains his approach.

Same here, he has a very unique style of playing. As for your list of music docs, post them up bai. I'm always looking for new music stuff to watch

There you go. Big ol
list of punk/metal/indie/noise/weirdo music docs and tv footage for you there. Slint to Voivod to Jazz to regional 80s US hardcore scenes.

Everyone should watch the Slint one regardless of wether or not you either know or like the band. Excellent film, pretty hilarious in parts too (usually the ones involving the drummer)

good man!

Watched the Slint one, which did very little for me, and the San Diego one, which was great. Always thought Drive Like Jehu were some soft indie band. Not the case.

"Yank Crime" is an absolute gem of an album.

Literally just dropped this morning - quick  behind the scenes doc about the Converge/Full of HellThou/Uniform tour that just happened in the US. About to watch it now myself provided work stays quiet.

I was blasting Beneath The Remains there yesterday and it got me thinking. Why hasn't there been a documentary made about Morrisound? So many classic albums recorded there and mixed also. Perhaps some day

There's a rather short interview with Jim and Tom it's about 20 minutes in length, worth a look.

I could be wrong but wasn't there a documentary by Obituary related to the studio, possibly to do with a kick starter campaign? Did it ever see the light of day?

I'm on a bit of a Greek BM buzz the past while and would love to watch a documentary interviewing the bands involved, both new and old.

There's a doc about the Greek tape trading scene, a couple of heads make appearances, but it's not specifically about BM or even Greek metal per se. And I don't have a link for it anyway. Has this been useful?

I'll see if I can find it in youtube before making a sarky reply  :P

I didn't hear anything about the Obituary documentary, but I know an official biography of the band was released recently. It will be released in Europe next month. I reckon I'll grab a copy
