Watched the NME/Death episodes of Into The Void. Very good.

Just watched the NME one myself. I'd never heard of them, thought they were a right bunch of dicks across the board TBH.

Watched the Dimebag and Chuck ones tonight. Decent and v good, respectively. I think I'm a little sick of listening to Phil though. He talks like a character from a bad movie.

Phil sounds like his eyebrows look.

Didn't even know this doc existed until I saw it in this thread. I watched the NME one first and it felt like a shitty, cheap Netflix true crime doc so I wasn't going to bother with the rest. Watched the Chuck one though and it was awesome, so I'll stick with it. I'm off tomorrow so it's gonna have to be a Death listening day now.

Watched the Dimebag episode of Into the Void. It was quite enjoyable, though not as good as the Chuck one.

It's nice to see all the remaining people have found understanding about the whole thing in terms of the bad blood. Phil was either stoned in that interview or else he's just absolutely melted in general now from long term drug abuse.

Phil's sober nowadays, think it's very much a case of him being a little guarded during interviews.

Guarded like Dr. Strangelove pinning down his right arm?

Coincidentally I'm watching the Rigor Mortis doc which Phil narrates, pretty decent.

It was a good documentary and that episode.
I got the impression there was a lot of regret from him about the things he said at the time and the relationship breakdown with him and the Abbott brothers.

Yeah he did seem pretty remorseful about how it all went down. Never realised either that Rex had planned to go visit Dime that December, probably would have only been a matter of time for a reunion to happen
