So Sharon got more money of the twats at Paramount than the Beeb.

The BBC one is on BBC1 tomorrow (Thursday) night at 9PM.

Watched the Jeff Buckley one tonight. 8/10 for the documentary, 11/10 for Jeff. Some man for one man  :abbath:

I watched the first episode of Into The Void. Thought it was good, Sharon didn't actually annoy me which was a bonus

Might check it out so. I read that Mick Wall book on Sabbath about 10 years ago and it was like she had curated it and made the edits herself (which she probably had), adding in passages about how great she was, how she was behind it all. The way every story about Sabbath, Ozzy or Zack Wylde somehow has Sharon fucking Osbourne inserted into it drives me nuts. With all her fuckery and nonsense she's like an embarrassing pissed girlfriend that you have to constantly bring home early for making a scene

Its nearly the same with Iommi's autobiography. Can't remember which of the two it was in but there's a part where Iommi ends up in jail and calls Sharon to bail him out, and she only agreed to it in exchange for signing over a massive portion of his rights to the Sabbath name to her and Ozzy

Sure check out the history section on the Black Sabbath website, the entire thing is about the Ozzy era and completely ignores anything after his departure except for a brief mention that the band carried on. Doesn't even mention Dio

Wall has been getting the digs at her ever since.

ah ha ha ha. To be fair I've read a good few books by Wall and enjoyed them all. There is no denying that Sharon did do a lot, especially peeling Ozzy off a floor and getting back on tour. He could have been another dead rockstar at a young age. Can be annoying at the best of times though.

I watched that Jeff Buckley doc.

Really well done, & emotive.
Mad to hear some of the voice messages.

He really was full of emotion/vulnerability/creativity/free-spirited.

A great guitarist too.

Watched that new one on Ozzy that went up on Paramont. Decent enough, he really was fucked though the last few years. I felt sorry for him watching it. All the surgeries and physiotherapy and he still could hardly walk.

Watched it last night and loved it. Really cool they have raw footage of him when he started out.

The two episodes of Into The Void on Dimebag and Chuck are up on YouTube. Really good now, wasn't expecting them to be as heart breaking though

Watched the Chuck one last night, pretty decent. I was aware of his brother dying before, but it did a good job of putting into perspective how much it affected him and his attitude around touring
