Aye, shite, which is a shame. Very light on content, Dave mustn't have given permission for the music he drummed on to be used. He comes across as a bigger cunt than usual, anyway, so probably no surprise.

I enjoyed it now. But yea, Megadave comes across as a cunt as usual

In fairness having Mustaine in it would probably be endless anecdotes about how he got the last laugh, wrote all the drum parts and how professional he is compared to everyone else.

you're probably right. Still, fair play to Ellefson for putting this together. It only dawned on me after watching it too that Marty Friedman wasn't in it bar a few clips of him playing back in the day

Spotted there's a Gama Bomb doc up on the IFI website, might give it a look later

5 whole minutes of that youngblood cunt in there. Someone's paying a lot of money to try to reposition the cunt as a rock guy. Shame on those who take the filthy lucre.

With you on that- what was with the random EP with Aerosmith? Nonsense.

Dunno where the fucker came from but he's knocking around with every old rocker since that Ozzy tribute gig. Saw some headline the other day saying he's the "greatest voice of this generation". This generation needs its vocal cords severed then.

Yeah, the changes performance was alright, but fucking hell the Osbournes and his label are crowbarring the twat into everything.

Oh "he's a working class guy like Ozzy was. " The twat went to a fucking private school ,like most of whatever Brit shite is clogging the charts.

It does show though that despite how lazy the music industry has gotten rolling out the same tired old headliners and crying that there's no money in it, that with the right push and financial backing they could get anyone launched into the big time. Such a shame they wouldn't put the same effort into some real bands.

I knew nothing about him until a few days ago when I finally got round to checking out his Changes cover and then the VMAs medley he did with Aerosmith and Nuno. Went looking to see what his own stuff is like after and was unable to find a single decent tune, but to call his rendition of Changes 'alright' is a bit sour grapes imo: it was a killer performance very few vocalists could pull off. Reminded me in a way of George Michael at the Queen Tribute gig in Wembley, by which he revealed to everyone who'd up until then passed him off as a candy pop artist that in fact he could really fucking sing. As for all the celebrity tie-ins, etc.: the fame machine is as the fame machine does and I'm too old to give a solitary fuck

I was hoping my post would highlight the plight of overlooked artists and change how the industry works

I'm also too old to really get too far into this...  :'(

Quite enjoyable, whatever about the young lad he's found himself lol. Great to hear Justin on it, he's also heard on the second part. Tony himself in great form.
