I watched some of it there. Fair play. Not exactly my cup of tea musically and it seems aimed at people who are already into the band but it looks daycent.

Watched the Refused one there, not much to it. I'd have been well pissed off if I'd bought the DVD. Fairly shite the way they went out and they're well up themselves alright, but the live stuff's decent.

Watched the Worn Out one earlier, enjoyed it. Some serious tunes, I'll have to check them out properly.

We played one of those bad rep streams during covid with them. Not the stuff I normally listen to anymore but they are well good.

This just popped up there, looks cool. 1985

The Ozzfest doc and spiritual sequel to The Decline Of Western Civilization that Sharon benched due to her deciding she looked too fat and wanted to launch a reality career.

Sabbath sounds great too.

5 minutes in and I tell you now, I would nuke America. No fucking problem.

The Ozzless Ozzfest was the longest fucking day ever. We ended up going where the band was finishing so we wouldn't have to watch the band coming onstage. After Slayer and that cloudburst there was fuck all to do but go home and put an end to the misery.

Fuck all metal after 93. Fuck it to hell.

Definitely a time capsule for sure and Yanks on the piss will always be insufferable.

Agreed, for the most part. Skipped through various bits of that link and landed on clips from Static X, Slipknot and Godsmack. No thanks. If you had to sum up the state of late 90's mainstream metal in three bands, there's your lads. And as mentioned, yanks who can't hold their booze.

Watched the Jeff Buckley one there. Enjoyed it. Didn't really know anything about him bar that he drowned young but have always been a fan.
Great to see he was well loved at the time. Massive praise from Page/Plant, Bowie and McCartney was also a fan.

what's that called, where did you watch it? I'd be a fan of his too

Yeah, watched it myself last week, really good.

it's called "It's Never Over", and you'll find it on the under the counter streaming page of your choice

I just watched it myself, really good yeah. I'll be on a Buckley trip for a while now, which is so bad thing. I haven't listened to him for ages.

Ya, had Grace on earlier. Incredible album.
