Every time I think of throwing it on I start thinking of Bono and I find something else to go with. Tis shallow, tbf

Chance picks in Dealz have been generally kind to me over the years and it's an awful pity they gave up on that because now I usually have nothing to do when the missus is going around the shops, picking things up and putting them down again

I remember scoring the first five Jamiroquai albums out of Dealz for €7.50. A mighty day, so it was.

A completely random flashback, while working (and the mind wandering) to a decade or more ago.  In Astfgyl's house some evening, one of his kids had left a cop car plastic toy down on the floor.  It had a button on it for siren noises and catchphrases (police! hands behind your head! etc) that rotated each time it was pushed.  I can't remember them all but spent the evening in stitches that "STOP STRUGGLING" was one of them.

That reminds me of a remote control Thomas The Tank Engine toy my nephew had, it would 'speak' as it moved. When you reversed it, it would say "backing up!", but in its particular English accent it sounded like "fackin' 'ell!"

Astfgyl loves Jamiroquai so he does

Didn't mind U2 til I saw them at Slane 01. Atrocious shite. Bono is an insufferable cunt.

Just saw the Australian break dancing with Raygun. Hilarious stuff

Truly phenomenal.

Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords tweeted this today:
"I've been to Australia. That was their best dancer."

It's amazing how easy it is to identify fellow Irish tourists anywhere, and without the aid of a GAA jersey or chat. We just have an aura, the gait and the horrific looking hairy milk bottle legs that no other race can match :)

I have to check out that shooter. I've heard good things.

Yeah, 100%, nearly as easy as as picking out Special Branchmen in Sallins in the month of June.
The gait comes from years in silver kings in bad old rushy fields.
Same for ruskies, you can spot them before they open their mouths.  The gold chains are a hint of course

Why are we seeing more situations where people on holiday get sick, hurt or whatever and there's a gofundme to help pay for treatments etc. I know there are exceptions but do people not get travel insurance or have the correct cover in place?

Are Skechers trying to promote slip on shoes as their new innovation?
