Banging industrial techno  :abbath:

Ride: Going Blank Again

Chrome Waves is such a fucking tune.

Great album, the best thing they did by a long, long way.

Been on a SFA buzz for a while. Everything up to Rings Around The World is genius. Phantom Power on, not so much.

Ahh when SFA are great, they're great, and they have some serious bangers, but I'd agree with this

Fugazi - The Argument (always loved the production on this, the drum sound is particularly cool)

How have I never even heard a trace of this? I love all those little quick weird guitar bits. Must see if any of the rest of their stuff is worth a listen

2Pac – Me Against The World

Smooth

His delivery is brilliant

The production team behind him is top-notch

I just looked that up and she started presenting before I was born

   I was past my prime already  :'(

I'm somewhere in the middle, but sure look, time fucks is all

NP - The Chic Organisation 1977 - 1979.

Compilation with the first three Chic records, and Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" album, which is effectively a Chic record fronted by Sister Sledge.

Fucking hell, Rodgers and Edwards were on fire in that period, some of the best music of the 70s.

It's pretty wild how talented they were. One of the most locked in bands ever.

That explains how you'd never heard of it then doesn't it?You fucking hipster kids and your 90s retroism  :eyeroll:

Joking aside, I've a major soft spot for "Drink Me", the first album  - "your ma" is the superior single.
Also, Marijne VanDerVlugt  :-*

Add Diana Ross' self-titled (the one with Upside Down and I'm Coming Out) to that list, too. It's a Chic album with Diana Ross singing and is, of course, a total banger.
