Think Ginger assaulted someone in the audience.

And from what I can remember Bach just had an attitude, thought he was too big for the limelight or whatever and they dumped whatever Irish band that were supporting them off the tour, have a feeling it was an Answer or Glyder type band.

I was also at that Down show which I really enjoyed and don't remember any of what people are talking about here. I also went to one of the English dates because like mentioned above it took forever for the Irish shows to be announced. The Uk gig was better than the Irish one but I always put that down to it being the first time seeing them.

The two shows back to back in the Academy a few years later was the best out of all the times I have seen them.

One awful gig that comes to mind is the Deicide one in Temple Bar were Glen was in the middle of a divorce so he didn't bother coming to Europe and they had people from the crowd get up to sing the songs very disappointing when the main person you come to see in a band doesn't bother showing up. That was the beginning of all the shows here being cancelled for one reason or another over the next few years.

Another one was Warmoon Lord at a festival late last year. Was looking forward to seeing them and they ended playing an instrumental set which the show was not advertised as. A complete and utter waste of time.

Which show was this? From memory I have seen them in Dublin 3 times Supporting Gorgoroth in 05, They supported Enslaved at that 06 Village gig and they played around 2011 or 12 a few months after Hail Of Bullets played. I don't remember anyone being set on fire.

It was the Enslaved one. The lad came out with the fire thing and set himself up. Went side stage while the band continued on and didn't come back out for ages the fuckin stook

Think the Abbath South America one was where he was such a drunken mess the show had to be abandoned and he ended up bawling crying walking through the audience. Think he ended up in rehab after that. Saw them in London a bit later and he was drinking water!

I don't remember that at all I must have missed it as it is something I definitely would not have forgotten. I do remember the sound being awful for 1349 that night then I heard afterwards that the band purposely wanted things to sound that way.

That Gorgoroth/1349 gig was savage. Atilla doing Buried By Time and Dust with 1349 before he had rejoined Mayhem was class.

Speaking of fire, there was a Cork BM band at one of the Winterfests. Yer man lit his beard on fire and then one of the guitarists fell off the stage. It was amazing.

Not casting aspersions, I've played some absolutely hooped gigs.

I thought it was one of the funniest things I'd seen at a gig tbh. And they did sound like shit too. Thank god for Zyklon coming after

ah the good old days. Comedy gold that.

That's them. Couldn't for the life of me remember the name.

Did that really happen? What a disgrace ha ha. Who played bass, was there no vocalist at all? I've played some shoddy cover gigs in my time but even that is a bit much ha ha ha

I thought it was someone from the crew fell in?
