Also now for the first time listening to some of the early Satyricon albums that were getting mentioned earlier. By the time I started getting properly into extreme metal, beyond listening to whatever my loaded mates happened to be buying at the time, Satyricon were already being laughed out of it, so I just never bothered with them at all. Halfway through The Shadowthrone here and it's class!

Good to see them getting the props now anyway. Love the first 3 albums. Shadowthrone being my favourite.

Catching up on all Viroclac's stuff after siege last night

Hannes Grossman - The Radial Covenant

Corr Mhona Abhainn, they were excellent at the siege.
Cradle of Filth, Existnce is Futile, came up on my spotify today at work, not bad will give it another listen tomorrow.

Dark Tranquility - Moment

Pretty much what you'd expect from them, lovely artwork though

Godflesh - Streetcleaner

Have had it on a couple of times over the past few days.
One of those go-to records for me. Always delivers. Has also weathered the test of time incredibly well too.

Meshuggah - Catch 33

Their best outing imo.

Benchmark release, though mastered at quite a low volume IMO. The remastered & Live At Roadburn versions are also great.

Amon Amarth - With Oden On Our Side
Primordial- Redemption
Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger
