Worm "Foreverglade". Perfect for the onset of winter. Between this and the new Mortiferum that's the "metal" component of my end of year listening sorted.
Lots of Mt. Eerie also.

Yeah that Worm has really got something special about it, move over Hooded Menace for Death Doom of the year. That reminds me, must get a hold of the Skepticism.

Gave it a listen a while ago, good stuff!

Yeah, definite case of nothing I haven't heard before but done exceptionally well. Actual death metal.
I reckon that Mortiferum lp is going to be monstrous.

Cradle of Filth - Existence is Futile.. fantastic

Arcturus- 'Aspera Hiems Symfonia'. I'm still sickened I didn't fork out for the boxset  :(

Ulver- 'Vargnatt'. I'm still sickened I didn't fork out for the posh LP that came out recently  :P

Darkthrone- 'Under a Funeral Moon'. As far as cold and miserable BM goes, this is the one. Magic.

Mixed bag:

Queen - A Night At The Opera
Eternal Champion - Ravening Iron
Zemial - For The Glory Of Ur
Funereal Presence - Achiatus

Therapy?- 'Nurse'. Classic.

Schammasch - Contradiction
                           Triangle
                           Hearts of No Light
That's a good days listening right there...

King Diamond - Fatal Portrait

Gojira - The Way of All Flesh

BÖC - Imaginos
Cirith Ungol - Forever Black
Camel - Mirage
Van Halen - Van Halen

Did the full Bölzer back catalogue today.

Need another full album from them.

Also now for the first time listening to some of the early Satyricon albums that were getting mentioned earlier. By the time I started getting properly into extreme metal, beyond listening to whatever my loaded mates happened to be buying at the time, Satyricon were already being laughed out of it, so I just never bothered with them at all. Halfway through The Shadowthrone here and it's class!
