Ya, a slower, warpier sort of buzz going on with it. Threw on Lullabies to Paralyse there and it's good but just doesn't grab me in the same as the two after it.

Clockwork is definitely their best album post-SFTD.

Songs For The Deaf would be a much better album if it wasn't for those stupid fucking 'DJ' intros, someone played a bit too much Grand Theft Auto. They were good live on that tour, though.

I've been listening to the Warning demos over the past couple of nights. I have had them on CD as part of the 'Watching from a Distance' 2 CD edition but they never really gripped me that much so I'm only vaguely familiar with them. Having become somewhat obsessed with 'The Strength to Dream' in recent years, I find my ear has adjusted to, and grown to appreciate, the technical limitations of their pre 'Watching...' material and I'm finding plenty to enjoy in the demo songs. They were heavily influenced by Saint Vitus but there are one or two songs where you can really hear the seeds being sown for what went into 'The Strength to Dream'. That dismal Gothic atmosphere that pervades the album is beginning to gather.

I followed those up with the Cathedral demo and 'Lost Paradise' this evening.

Pestilence  - Consuming impulse

Wędrujący Wiatr  - O turniach, jeziorach i nocnych szlakach

Great album.

Wuthering Heights - Far From The Madding Crowd.
One of the finest power netal albums out there.

Noosed - A Collection Of Filth.
It's filthy, and it's collecty, and it sounds fucking class.

Bought that, and the T-shirt. Good filth.

Excellent filth.
Got the t-shirt meself too, shes a beaut. Pity there's no print on the back but sure ya can't have every way.

The last couple I've gotten from Cursed Monk have been very decent quality though, nice big print. The last label one had a nice back print.

I just realised that the Kyuss album I've been listening to is '... And the Circus Leaves Town.  :-X
