Valuatir  - both albums (French Celtic BM like Aes Dana & first Waylander album)
Oil Polloi - Fightback!
Greenland Whalefishers / SMZB - Joining Forces (split CD of Norwegian and Chinese Celtic punk. Really enjoying the  SMZB Wuhan! Wuhan! track

Enslaved - Vertebrae

Listening to this great Voivod live bootleg from 1987, amazing band.

Ancient Wisdom-For Snow Covered the Northland. Badly in need of a reissue. Think it may have been the first release featuring the versatile Marcus E. Norman of Bewitched, Throne of Ahaz and Naglfar fame.

Fans of Dissection, Unanimated and Gates of Ishtar could do a whole lot worse.

White Death - White Death

Slift - Ummon
Spite - Anti-Moshiach (don't see this mentioned so much on here, but I think it's class)
Zom - Flesh Assimilation

Ah, remember, back when the world was a simpler place, when piss and angst could be focused on metal rather than politics...

I miss people getting worked up over reviews.

Ya, the Spite album is incredible. I think Jesse said on RoD there's a new one done.

I love that the ZOM review just became a marketing tool by Darragh. Haha. CT didn't have a clue and was arrogant with it.

CT must have loved it when the guy from Blood Red Throne  emailed him complaining about a review he did of their material.
Although it would not surprise me if  he made that up. He did a lot for the metal scene here no doubt, but he had a huge sense of his own importance, made worse by people fawning over him.

I liked the guy to be honest. He could be a twat now and again, but so can I.

Didn't want to dedicate a thread to this so I posted here, but some may remember this band. Wasn't much of a fan myself but to their credit they featured on quite a few mainstream Irish TV shows back in the day, Brinskill Bomb Beat  (or, Brinskill Bombeat Corp ?).

I really liked them and the singer was a sound man, used to do mad stuff on stage, first time i saw someone using an angle grinder on stage during a set 😂

Vader - Solitude in Madness, was a big Vader fan from the 90s into the early 2000s.Havent checked out much of their material over the last decade or more. But i have to say im enjoying this latest release!

I saw them a couple of times in Fredz. A brilliant  live band but I never heard their albums.
