Sumac - What One Becomes.

I'd usually listen to stuff in this vein around this time of year anyway, but just bought tickets to see them in Glasgow on Paddy's day and am like a child here. Ferocious stuff.
Love that album.  Would have liked to go see them abroad but just can't swing any of the dates coming up.  Disgracefully heavy band.

HAven't got around to that yet actually. Must rectify it.

Accept - Balls to the Wall
Deep Purple - Fireball

Diabolical Masquerade - Ravendusk My Heart

Ashes Divide - Keep Telling Myself It's Alright.

The album that should have been A Perfect Circles next one.

Agreed. Still actually haven't listened to the recent APC album

I wanted to like the APC album but I just couldn't get any buzz off it

Sigh - Heir to Despair.
Not sure about the album cover   ;D

Mizmor - Yodh

Stumbled upon this randomly a while back, really nice mixture of black/doom/drone. Very impressive for a 1 man project.

Pale Divine - Pale Divine.

Nothing original but a very enjoyable listen.

Smashing Pumpkins - Shiny...

Solara is the only full-on balls-out rocker on it and, when JC is your drummer, this feels like a real missed opportunity, It's decent, but it's dad-rock when it should be fucking banging.

Carnivore - Retaliation

Lots of Sentenced this week. While Amok, North from Here and Love&Death are my favourites, I've developed a love for Frozen. Few great songs on Cold White Light too. Catchy rock.

Meshuggah - Destroy Erase Improve - reloaded edition? picked it up yesterday , doesnt seem to be any different from the original bar the demo tracks.

Screaming Trees - Last Words

High quality latter-era Screaming Trees which sits nicely alongside Dust. I struggle with much of Lanegan's solo stuff, would love to see him go back to this kind of music.

Been playing the new Bloodbath the last day or so,really liking it.
