Always loved that power metal scream near the end of black horizons on the somberlain.
Is it nodtveigt who does that I wonder?

Orphaned Land - Mabool

Osculum Infame - Axis of Blood
                                  Dor-nu-Fauglith

On a massive Motorhead buzz at the moment. Rocking Bomber, Overkill, Sacrifice and Aftershock.

Osgiliath - Ainulindale
                   L'Ombre Du Passe

Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous

First time in years actually sitting down and listening to this with a few cans, just the absolute dogs bollocks.

Dissection- The Somberlain.

I always avoided Dissection because I always had them lumped in with the melodic, sugary end of black and death metal. Really enjoying this now so either my ears are wimping out or I had them wrong all along. There's hope for me yet...

Dissection are one of the best to ever do it.
The live show from after his release is an absolute classic. The Somberlain is excellent but then you listen to Storm and it's another level.
I've been listening to a lot of Black Anvil.

Ovate - Ovate
Ovnev - Transpiration

Only problem being it puts ya mad to go out  on the rip !
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Pa Vesh En  -  Church of Bones

Sentenced - Shadows of the Past

Cosmic Putrefaction - The Horizons Towards Which Splendour Withers

More quality Death Metal, spoilt so far this year.

Eternal Champion - The Armour of Ire
Enforcer - Diamonds
Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast

The first two are decent and they logically led me to reach for the latter, which is fucking untouchable..

Burzum- Hvis Lyset Tar Oss. Simple, hypnotic perfection.
