That's the only album of theirs that I have.  I think it's great.

I can't recall if they open the album with that track or not, but everything else on that album pales in comparison I think. He's prolific enough and he comes up with really cool sci-fi concepts for each album but the odd song I've heard here and there just really didn't do it for me. Like, a way worse hit/filler ratio than My Dying Bride.

That's not the one with Welcome Home on it. Savage tune. That's Good Apollo I'm Burning or something. I got into it at one stage dispite the terrible emo leanings of it. Worked at one of their gigs as well and they put on a show. Great drummer.

New Ulcerate!!! The best thing they've done so far. Both the technicality and thick production they are known for are still there, but they have managed to make everything sound so much more immediate. The melodies just jump out at you on first listen. Songwriting is amazing here!!! Even if you haven't liked their previous stuff, you should still give this a listen.

Enslaved - Below the Lights, Monumension

Good shout, 2 great albums. I think Below The Lights might be my favourite of theirs. They really lost the run  of themselves after Ruun though. Pity as they have such a strong catalogue up to that

Deep Purple - In Rock

Hitting all the right spots today.

Speaking of Enslaved...just listened to the single from the new album.

Very surprised by the intro riff, sounds more like Baroness or something than Enslaved, whole thing just sounds a bit disjointed.

Slutvomit - Copulation of Cloven Hooves

Lethal dose of brimstone up the arse.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Swans - To Be Kind
Paradise Lost - Obsidian
Wake - Devouring Ruin
Revenge - Strike.Smother.Dehumanize
Thou - Heathen

Today has been a fine brew.
Marduk- Panzer Division
Immolation- Failures For Gods
Beastmilk- Climax
Cannibal Corpse- Butchered At Birth. This album never fails to deliver.

Love Butchered at Birth, the Bleeding is my favourite though.

Yep, The Bleeding is their best album in my opinion.  It's brutal and heavy but loaded with atmosphere and every single riff on it is designed to kill.  So insanely catchy.

I'll need to listen to that without watching the awful video to try and take it in. Not sure what to think of it.

The first 4 Cannibal Corpse are all great, but yeah The Bleeding is the one id go for first.

Tomb of the Mutilated was my first ever death metal purchase,

I had Coheed and Cambria- 'In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth II' on while cooking a most delicious Jamie Oliver meal of vegetarian Indian burgers.  Winner all round.

Do they have another good track apart from that deadly one, Welcome Home, cos I've checked out a few tracks here and there over the years and they were all muck.

I only ever had No World for Tomorrow on cd and it's a brilliantly catchy album. Need to explore more of their catologue.

Album I'm listening to here by a band called Tera Melos called X'ed. Math rock..fukin great listen
