Messa - The Spin
Ancient Rites - Dim Carcosa
Kreator - Coma of Souls

I listened to Rob Zombie's new effort today and yes there are alien werewolves and shit on there but musically it's better than he's done in an awful long time. It certainly won't become a regular listen but it wasn't a bad hour or so

Possession - The Mother of Darkness  :abbath:

Weedpecker - "V"
Whole album is out since yesterday but I have the first two tracks listened to to death while they were streaming early.  Latter half of the album also totally savage.  Meticulous psych/stoner rock.  As good as it is on a first listen, it opens up more and more each time.  Have listened to almost nothing else in the last two days.  Have it on again while I am posting this  lethal stuff.

Yep, in agreement. It's not bad at all...

The litmus test for any Rob Zombie album is: does anything on there equal or better Astro Creep OR Hellbilly Deluxe?

The answer is always no.  Forget about it.  Don't cod yourselves.  I won't listen to it to find out, no.

I did immediately put on a few choice cuts off both those albums though while thinking about it.

If you fancy some Afro Industrial. Try African Imperial Wizard...
Absolutely savage man. Not sure if there's any vinyl left (highly sought after) but there might be some cassettes available from the label.

but Tesco Distribution is chock full of goodies. Some really cool af releases on there.

Cheers. I'll give them a go later.

Give Linekraft a go Andy, and not strictly Tesco, but they distro a lot of the Himukalt stuff which is cool.

Not the kind of death metal  I'd usually go for but  a few tracks off this Gibbeting is hitting the spot this morning. Nice easy going Sunday morning music

Couple of tracks on there that could rival Hellbilly Deluxe.

Linekraft played at the Beherit Fest in Japan but I missed them. I went out for a couple of hours to hang out with the family unit and have lunch. When I got back in everyone was raving about their set. Then again,  everyone was raving about Masonna's set and that was him just basically falling from one side of the stage to the other for something like forty seconds before the curtain went back down    Pure fukkkin shite!

NP:

Paradise Lost- Shades of God  8) (the smiley is wearing them at the moment)

Sticking this on now. The artwork reminds me of Sadness 'Ames des Marbres' so we are off to a good start on that front at least.

Agent Steel - Unstoppable Force
Aghora - s/t
Loudblast - Sublime Dementia

Beherit - Drawing Down the Moon.
I've had a digital version of this on the hard drive for years and years, but since getting the physical version, it's been playing non-stop.
I've always found that I can't fully appreciate a release unless I own it on CD or LP.
Insane album, though. Will finally get the chance to see them in August.

Worm - Necropalace.
A lot less miserable death/doom than before. Tougas is showing off the guitar skills quite a bit here. Class stuff.

Concrete Winds - Everything they've done.
Gym and work soundtrack this past few weeks. One of my favourite current DM bands. An absolute sonic assault.
