A few hours ago there a little old lady approached the hotel counter where I work while I had The Summoning Bell on. Usually I spot them coming and turn down my tablet but this one got through the net and was on top of me, looking quite aghast, before I realised and  her going " Sweet Mother Divine what are ye listening to ?." I'm pretty sure she only wanted a glass of water originally but what she asked for was a stiff brandy.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Primordial- Imrama.

Severed Head Of State- Anathema Device.  I thought I'd smashed up the state entirely on the way to work but it turns out I missed a bit so I smashed it up good on the way home. You're welcome.

There may be plot holes in my story.

Have that Strikniën DC album on here now. Remember hearing it back when it was new and I was Nu and hating it but it's actually well decent. Pity about the terrible condition of the copy on Youtube but anyway yeah I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

There's a book in the house here called A Day In The Life Of Ireland from the 90's and a couple of these lads are on the back cover. Pointless trivia there

Ah even when I was listening to a few nu metal bands in the 90s I was still listening to good shit too. Strikniën were a force of nature. Phenomenal live band in their day, just so dark and intense.

Psycroptic - as the kingdom drowns

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Immortal - Battles of the North

Infernal Thorns - Christus Venari

Another banger from Chile. Blackened death metal done right. :abbath:

Vintersorg - Vattenkrafternas Spel
Summoning - Lugburz
Pagan Altar - Lords of Hypocrisy

Death - Human
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Cynic - Focus

Why fuck around?

That is a mighty trio, in fairness. I might put the three of them on now too.

Warp Chamber and Benothing split. Gnarly stuff but awful short at just one track each.
Also checked out the new track from Worm. Sounds massive of course. Still prefer the Foreverglade sound though

Deicide - Serpents Of The Light
Lankum - False Lankum
Kylesa - Static Tensions
Skyrim - OST
Goatwhore - Carving Out The Eyes Of God

Variety is the spice of life and all that

Unearthly Trance - In The Red
Black Sabbath - Born Again
Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny

Playing the vinyl tonight.
