Ha. The new 12" on MeSaco is great, the two song one. The actual LP they put out  before it ("Rotted Remnants") is the weakest thing they've done but enjoyable, the initial demo/MCD is great too though. VEry much in the Disembowelment/Ceremonium/Dusk vein. Drummer is also in Sanctuarium, handily enough, and has a pretty fucking great doom/death solo project called Exhumation who just put an lp out.

It's the new 2 song one that's for sale here. I'll give them a spin later and see...

Bathory - Blood Fire Death
Burzum - Filosofem

Thinking about my top 5 of each decade. How did I not include these 2 classics?!

Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere
Zemial - Repairer of Reputations
Eternal Champion - The Armor of Ire

Three very different but equally epic takes on epic.

Therapy? - Nurse, Baby Teeth.

Voivod - Killing Technology, Dimension Hatröss, Nothingface.

PRO - PAIN - Foul Taste Of Freedom
PRO - PAIN - The Truth Hurts
CRO MAGS - Best Wishes
METAL CHURCH - The Human Factor
ANTHRAX - Worship Music
KREATOR - Violent Revolution

Blood Fire Death would always be in my top 5 of all time but I'm not going to get drawn into that thread because I'll have a meltdown. Reign In Blood. Right, I'm stopping!
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Quote from: Petardo on November 23, 2024, 12:10:20 AMRipping Corpse - Dreaming With The Dead
Sadus - Swallowed in Black.
Revenant - Prophecies of A Dying World.

What a ripper trio of albums. That Revenant is brilliant, years ago I had an OG copy of that in one hand and an OG copy of Megaslaughter - Calls from the Beyond in the other and I could only afford one and chose the Megaslaughter. I still think about that decision to this day.

With all the absolutely shite getting reissues I don't know how that ripping corpse hasn't gotten one yet.

Tankard - Zombie Attack
Riot - Narita
Ard - Untouched By Fire
Stygian Crown - Funeral For A King
Stormruler - Sacred Rites & Black Magick
Dark Forest - Oak, Ash & Thorn
Cirith Ungol - Frost & Fire

There's some kind of story behind this involving the rights..Relapse I think we're going to but there was some kind of legal issue. Unfortunately. Genius lp.

Whatever about the Revenant lp, I had a deadly OG shirt  a while ago which has completely disappeared to my dismay. Movi g house will do that I suppose.

Now playing: Jaundice s/t demo on bandcamp. Who'd have thought the best Swedish Death metal track I'd hear this year would be by a bunch of Scottish teenagers.

Just to add to the love of the 3 albums above. Would love a RC reissue. Such a class album. The Dim Mak stuff never did anything for me. There was talk of Kelley joining Hate Eternal a few years ago which may have been interesting but dunno what happened with that.

RC should just go back and record that unreleased album the artwork and just instrumental tracks for it are great.

Always forget about that, but ya, agreed.

MANILLA ROAD - The Deluge
MANILLA ROAD - Spiral Castle
MANOWAR - Kings Of Metal
THE GATES OF SLUMBER - Conqueror
THE GATES OF SLUMBER - Hymns Of Blood And Thunder

Listening to Pearl Jam  - Vitalogy at the minute. Always really liked this album even though it does have some very Dawsons Creek bits on it.

I reckon their first three albums are on a par as it goes but fuck did they go downhill after that

Edit: it's probably one for the off topic.

I don't know where to draw the line anymore

I don't even know if
