BTL is the best Enslaved album, closely followed by Isa, Eld, and Mardraum.  I enjoy a few before and after those too and was a huge fan of them around the time of Isa, but from around Vertebrae on I lost interest.  Good tunes but nothing has the staying power of those other few.

Same, those mid period Enslaved albums are untouchable!.They lost me at Vertebrae, still rank their gig in The Village in 06 as one of my all time favourite gigs.

Should have said Mardraum too and I've a soft spot for Blodhemn and Monumension and Ruun. Also fell away at Vertebrae for me and I haven't enjoyed any of it really since then. Agreed about that gig too, they were class
