Horisont - various albums

These lads have been barely mentioned on here. Was only introduced to them myself on Saturday there by a mate. They're class! Solid homage to all things 70s rock, but so well done, so, so well done!

Great shout.

You mentioned them makes them gay though.

Neurosis - Times of Grace

Converge - All we love we leave behind

All Them Witches - Dying Surfer Meets His Maker
Sleep - Holy Mountain
Spelljammer - Abyssal Trip

On an oldie buzz the last few days.
Thin Lizzy, , Whitesnake, early Aerosmith. early Ozzy and Ozzy era Sabs!

Probably cause the young fella has finally taken a shine to a bit of music and most of the above are on his playlist too.
Brings a tear to the eye to see him starting out almost identical to how I kicked of my own rock'n'metal journey about 35 years ago.

Listening to Hobbs Angel of Death self titled.  I'm picky about thrash but love this one.

Moonreich -   Loi martiale
                         Fugue

Terrorizer - World Downfall

Death metal goodness from start to finish

WARFARE NOISE

This band from Paraguay plays black thrash/ old school death thrash with reminiscences of old teutonic thrash and the old south american vibes! Very cool songs!

Chat Pile - God's Country

Iron Angel - Winds of War 7/10

Orange Goblin - A Eulogy For The Damned 8/10

Hissing - Hypervirulence Architecture ( Needs about 10 more listens before I could even begin to rate it,dissonance overload in the vein of Portal..)

Katatonia - Brave Yester Days 9/10 ( I should probably be giving this full marks given that it contains all the classic old EP's plus the likes of Scarlet Heavens and a couple from BMD but at the end of the day it's still a comp and therefore a bit all over the place soundwise and chronologically , What a collection of tracks though.)

Abbath - Dreadreaver 7.5/10 ( This has been one of my surprises of the year given that I very nearly passed it over when I saw the cover. Now the cover has grown on me , most of the tracks hook me in and they did a great job with the Trapped Under Ice Cover. Only gripe now is I'd like to see him have a go at his own lyrics as most of these come across as too cryptic and verbose for music like this.I kinda want him to go full on Blackie circa ..Electric Circus  :abbath: )
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Greg Puciato - Mirrorcell

Had no interest in his previous band but this is a banger.

Ravensire - We march forward.  Not a bad CD, haven't listened to it for years.

Cannibal Corpse - Torture

Love this band. Even their recent albums make me feel nostalgic.

Moondweller - The Search

Prong: Primitive Origins, Force Fed, Beg To Differ, Prove You Wrong, about half of Cleansing.

All very good albums. Good man Tommy pity about the last 20 years
