Bulldozer - IX

I'm fairly late to the Bulldozer party, but got a box set of theirs a few months back. One of my better investments.

Deftones - White Pony. Still love this album start to finish.

Deftones - Ohms. Another great addition to the collection, like a better version of Saturday Night Wrist.

Deftones in general are great for the sunny weather

The ducky boys - the war back home
Bad religion - the grey race
Bad religion - all ages
Rollins band - get some , go again

Cathedral- Forest of Equilibrium.
Gjendød- I Utakt Med Verden.

Rollins Band - Weight
Transport League - Superevil
Slayer - Reign in Blood

More deftones today.

Saturday Night Wrist. Sounds very "studio" in places but still some great tracks on it. Kimdracula and Xerces especially but some of the heavier stuff like Rats Rats Rats is pretty decent too. Dragged down a bit by the likes of Beware The Water

Self Titled up next.

Alice Cooper - The Last Temptation 5/10
Malevolent Creation - The 13th Beast 5/10
Holy Terror - Mindwars 9/10
Testament -The Formation of Damnation 7/10
Tool - 10,000 Days 6/10
Necromutilator - Ripping Blasphemy 8/10
Therion - Leviathan 7/10
Reveal - Nocturne of Eyes and Teeth 8/10
Mercyful Fate - Dead Again 7.5/10
Watain - The Agony and Ecstasy of Watain 8/10
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Tyr- Ragnarok. Driving to work at 6.30 with this pumping. Gets the blood pumping I tells ya!

Pantera: Far Beyond Driven

The riff that closes the song ' Throes of Rejection' particularly, so good.

High in the running for favourite of all time. I  love everything about this album and the wider scene/era it came from. Excited to go to Beyond The Gates next month and see a bit of a tribute to that, though bands and fans are all middle aged now. It is what it is. The magic of ITNE cannot be recreated by anything today, lucky to still have this music immortalised on record and there the feeling remains undiluted.

Nicely put.

The euphoria the listener gets at various points during that album where the tunes build to a crescendo and the n dissipate  (into the infinity of thoughts, inno a satana etc) is, as you say, impossible to recreate.
