A very good album

I don't think they ever toured outside of North America

Which other album is worth checking out?

4: The Green Album would be my fave. A fee of them are on special on bandcamp at the moment.

Checked out that High Spirits, Another Night album too and while it certainly has a bit more kick to it than the other one I can't get with his vocals at all, man needs a good dose of cigarettes and whiskey.

Ah nice, haven't had a chance yet. How does it compare to debut?

I haven't heard the debut. I knew of the band but never bothered checking them out. This new one is getting glowing reviews which mention Atheist and Vektor so I had to give it a spin. It's very good, exhilarating and a bit overwhelming. I'll properly sit with it the next time I have 80 minutes to spare.

Gotcha. The debut is class.

I see the debut is a more manageable 46 minutes. I must give that a listen.

It's hard to get the time for 60+ minute albums these days. Getting the wife to mind our 5 month old and toddler while I chill with an 80 minute tech thrash album just doesn't happen unfortunately.

I'm very much on the fence with the new Vreid album.

Hmm, I must get around to this, waiting on the LP in the post. I really liked the first track released this year, then I saw a link for Kraken and I thought that was a stand aline track just for the film as it was so different. I saw the track list during the week though and I was wondering WTF. Hard to see that flowing in the middle of an album.

Edit: I thought Living the Dead was a stand-alone track also as a collaboration. That and Kraken seem so far removed from the "Flammen" and "From these Woods" tracks, it must be a bit disjointed?

I made it to 61 minutes, now story time has rolled around. For the wee lad, not herself

Great gear so far though  :abbath:
