From The Bogs Of Aughiska: Roots Of The Earth Within My Blood

Must revisit that soon. The gig in Into The Void was class. So long ago now  :-X

Never saw them live. The gig in the Róisín Dubh in Galway a few years ago was meant to be mighty (wearing the T-shirt as I speak) but I wasn't into them then. Kicking myself now.

Have the S/T on vinyl. Love listening to second track Aos Si.
Can't beat a bit of storytelling.

It's hard to get the time for 60+ minute albums these days. Getting the wife to mind our 5 month old and toddler while I chill with an 80 minute tech thrash album just doesn't happen unfortunately.

I made it to 61 minutes

Yeah, this new Cryptic Shift is quality. Has put me in the mood to plan a full day of sci-fi metal albums next time I find meself home alone  :abbath:

Managed a couple of plays of the new Cryptic Shift, so much to get stuck into I can only imagine it'll get better with each listen. Early contender for album of the year

Immortal - Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism. The Immortal album that gets the most listens here in recent years, possibly my favourite Immortal release. Up there with any of the most revered Norwegian releases.

Krolok - Flying Above Ancient Ruins

Schizophrenia - Cavalera Conspiracy

Immolation - Acts of God
Gorguts - Considered Dead
Death - Scream Bloody Gore
Hate Eternal - Conquering the Throne

Giving it its first proper shake here, definitely hitting the mark.

Was on a Van der Graaf Generator and Rush kick earlier, so I didn't recoil at the second track being half and hour long   :abbath:

Judas Priest - Painkiller
Celtic Frost - Morbid Talesa
Night Cobra - Dawn of the Serpent
Coroner - Grin (first time listen)

Cryptic Shift - Overspace & Supertime (a lot to unpack but really enjoying it)
Triumpher - Piercing the Heart of the World

Is that the one James Hetfield did guest vocals on?
