Katatonia - Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State

Can't imagine it getting played again any time soon.

Entrails - The Tomb Awaits

Think the enthusiasm and respect for Schuldiner that Harvey & Rios have is what makes it work. Looking forward to the Symbolic/TSOP era of Gruesome!

Gruesome - Silent Echoes (yeah it's Death worship but done well and good craic)
Godflesh - A World Lit Only By Dub
Thin Lizzy - The Acoustic Sessions
Swans - To Be Kind
Dire Straits - Live at the BBC

Steve Von Till- No Wilderness Deep Enough.
Deftones- White Pony.

Bogside Sniper Squadron demo - Enjoying this a lot more in the car today than I did when was released.

Stone Temple Pilots - Purple

Generally think these lads aren't great but they have this one class album at least

STP have some of the worst lyrics ever committed to tape.

NP- Autopsy - "Severed Survival". Probably the best death metal album ever recorded.

Some shit lyrics maybe but Core, Purple and even Tiny Music are all great to very good.

In Twilight's  Embrace - Lifeblood

Was up in Heldscalla Studio yesterday so listened to a selection of things recorded there over the last few years: Venefixion, Hexecutor, Mercyless, Sépulcre. Then twas off to see Dionysiaque for a second time (also recorded at Heldscalla), and that's what I'm listening to now.

I never got around to picking up that Dionysiaque album. How were they live?

Darkthrone - A Blaze in the Northern Sky
Wanton Attack - Brinnamde Jord
The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Traveller Supplement 1: The Ephemeral Glades
Deadly Magic - ....As Nightmares Gorged The Earth

Second time seeing them live, both times amazing: high intoxicating energy. Both times has been in dungeon-style venues too, which is cool in terms of atmosphere, but they put so much into performing, I'm looking forward to seeing them on a stage where they have space to express it more. Album is savage, a truly singular release. Get on it  :abbath:
