Blood Incantation - Hidden History of the Human Race
Sijjin - Sumerian Promises
Black Sabbath - Tyr

New Behemoth...Its pretty good ..shocked

Checking out Sijjin here for the first time, the Sumerian Promises album. At first I thought it sounded good but maybe a bit old school DM by numbers. By the end of it, I was well into it though. More than meets the ear on first impressions. Or else the second half is just better. Just pressed play on the one released last month now.

You'll find that a bit different.

Right you were! Whatever about liking it or not, compared to the first album only four years ago, it certainly seems a strange shift in direction for a deep underground band to be taking in 2025.

Nocturnus - Nocturnus EP (never heard these two songs before.  Gets a thumbs up from me)
Tower - Let There Be Dark
Axetasy - Withering Tudes
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Imperial Triumphant - Spirit of Ecstasy
Death - Human
Seven Sisters - Shadow of a Fallen Star PT 2.

Loving the new Seven Sisters album.  Found part one harder to get into, but this has just click.

Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Clutch - Earth Rocker
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Everlast - Whitey Ford Sings The Blues

Running wild haven't been a good band for 30 years but fuck this corny ass song gets me going after a few beers  :abbath:

I've started Fridays with worse tunes. And better ones   :abbath:

That Everlast album has a few great songs on it. The dude can really sing.

Reverend Bizarre - In the Rectory of the Bizarre Reverend

This album has finally clicked with me. I bought it years ago based off it's reputation, but I couldn't get into it. Threw it on the stereo full blast this morning, and it sounds glorious.

Return to the Rectory is included as a second CD. I'll give that a spin later.

11/10 album. Also better for smoking to than any stoner doom album. G'wan, do an aul wake n'bake, ya know you want to!

Ridiculously good album, and Return... isn't far behind either.

 I haven't had a smoke in over 20 years. If I did I'd end up pulling a whitey and would have to throw on some Enya to calm down.

I'll listen to it with some strong Belgian beers the next time I get a night to myself. That's as hardcore as I get these days.  ;D

I mean, Orinoco Flow is basically Enya's tribute to Rush's A Passage to Bangkok. She's said as much herself, I'm almost certain.
