Loathe or love, and I veer more towards the latter, you've got to at least begrudgingly hand it to Dani and his assorted troupe of degenerates for plugging away in the face of ever diminishing returns. Also, the guy is still one of Metal's best lyricists, shoot me, but the fact remains. Safe to say there's nothing here to over excite but plenty to satisfy long time fans.

Yeah since I first sat down with Dusk's lyric booklet I've been sold on his verbage. He's a twonk for sure, but a literate and expressive twonk (which a lot of fellas - twonk variety or otherwise - within the sphere of metal clearly aren't).

Not given a CoF album a fair shake since Nymphetamine (which I love), might give this a whirl.

It's a great album if you can withstand over an hour of instrumental stoner doom. Satan Worshipping Doom is their best imo.
