Witch Cross - Fit For Fight 9/10
Classic hidden gem from 1984 for fans of Warlord, Omen, Heavy Load ,Angel Witch etc. For the love of the devil will somebody add THAT riff from 'Face Of A Clown' to the Riff thread as I'm on a tablet here and can't do it.

Locrian - Return To Annihilation 8/10
Great album to have on in the background while reading, an apocalyptic vista taking in everything from Doom to Drone to Shoegaze to Krautrock ..and even a few tribal beats for good measure.Good album

Spectral Voice - Sparagmos 8/10
Getting a lot of listens this one, I'm a little bit fascinated by the cover too.

Coffins -The Fleshland 7/10
The cult Japanese act's debut for Relapse worships at the boots of Asphyx, Autopsy, Sabbath..but the band could write some seriously heavy and catchy tracks.

Laaz Rockit- Annihilation Principle 7/10
Servicable American thrash from 1989 that I stupidly ignored back then because I didn't like their name. I'd say I wasn't the only one either.

That Witch Cross sounds right up my street, so that is one for the wishlist.  You are right about Laaz Rockit name, I immediately thought you were listening to a glam band!

Portrait - The Host
Cantique Lepreux - Paysages Polaires
Rotting Christ - Pro Xristou
Uncle Acid - Nell' Ora Blu

The first two Laaz Rockit are more speed/power metal than thrash. Personally I prefer that to the thrash stuff to be honest.  Although 'Know Your Enemy' has a nice balance of both styles.

TWISTED SISTER - Live At Hammersmith (1994)

Recorded on the Stay Hungry tour, June 15, 1984, at the Hammersmith Odeon. Absolutely savage.

S.M.F for life baby!

Halford - Resurrection

Decided to check out Halford's solo stuff after finally realising that some of Bruce Dickinson's solo stuff is great. Resurrection is a savage album.

Wormed - Pleoverse Omninertia

Wormed are a band I could never get into but the new singles sound interesting. There's a bit more variety in the tunes.
The older I get the more I'm starting to enjoy brutal death metal. Maybe it's onset dementia.

Crypt Sermon - The Stygian Rose

200 Stab Wounds- Manual manic procedures.
Loving this. Been listening constantly all weekend.

Rotted-Pestilent tomb.
Only got into these recently. Autopsy vibe, good stuff.

Sure is. Only had the one play through so far, very good though ! Some nice playing on it too.

I just found an old double tape compilation. "Protect The Innocent ".
This is where it all began for me

I had that too. Some awful shite on it but some absolute classics as well.

What kind of stuff is on that??
