Suffocation - Effigy of the Forgotten
Suffocation - Pierced from Within

Suffocation had such a great run of releases from 1990 to 1998. PFW is arguably their peak.

I'd agree there about Pierced. Might stick it on and sit on me Thrones of Blood* in the garden.

ASSASSIN - The Upcoming Terror (1987)

So fucking good.

It really is. There's a Brazilian reissue of it with early demos and live stuff on a bonus disc, hard to find and stupid money on Discogs. Hoping to pick it up at some stage.

Nice, I will definitely keep an eye out for that!

High Roller have just reissued this and Interstellar Experience.  Never actually owned a copy, but they have been on the wishlist for years.

Solstice: Lamentations, Halcyon, New Dark Age, Death's Crown Is Victory, To Sol A Thane, White Horse Hill.

As the summer solstice is tonight, I'll be playing them for most of the day.

Good call, but it can't be summer solstice there yet if winter solstice hasn't yet hit Australia. Tomorrow is the 21st! But thanks for the reminder; I'll fire NDA in the car for the drive to work tomorrow 8)

Yes, the solstice is tonight, just before 10 (bearing in mind that the time in Oz is well ahead of here). It's the earliest it's fallen for over 200 years:

No way. I didn't realise it was a movable feast. So I'm a day closer to spring than I realised and I can still listen to Solstice tomorrow. Double win  :D

Solstice- New Dark Age.
Sick of it All- Scratch the Surface.

Reversed - Wildyly Possessed
Tarot - Tarot
Darkthrone - It Beckons Us All
Freeways - Dark Sky Sanctuary

Loving this Freeways album.
