Wasn't there a Butch Vig mix as well at some stage, or was that it? Maybe it was abandoned but I'm sure I heard a track or two from it a few years ago.

I wasn't pushed on that Attacker, vocals were a bit too full on or something.

My initial impressions aren't great either but I'll give it plenty more spins.

I've never heard about this, I may go digging around. There was the 20th anniversary one as well that I forgot about until now I must revisit that too

Apologies, it was Nevermind I was thinking of. It was a bonus disc in a boxset a few years ago, billed as The Devonshire Mixes. All the album tracks bar Polly.

Ah I don't have that either. Another one to lash on. I know the Smart Sessions versions and I think they sound better than the album so hopefully these are decent as well

I had them on my iPod, sounded decent alright. A bit beefier, from what I remember.

The snare sound alone makes them worth checking out, and there's a tad more energy about them overall. Got a sudden Nirvana buzz going but there's not actually that much when it comes down to it

Dysylumn - Occultation

Yeah, every now and then i get a hankering for a bit of Nirvana but by the time I indulge it, I'm usually past it.

NP: Forbidden: Omega Wave. Anderson was one of thrash's shining lights, such a voice on him.

Gruntruck: Push - unfairly forgotten 'grunge' band, better than most of them.
