Dio - The Last In Line
Testament - Low
Bad Religion - Against The Grain
The Gates Of Slumber - Conquerer

CROWN OF THORNS - The Burning

THE HAUNTED - The Haunted (1998)

Still their best by a long way as far as I'm concerned. It has an unhinged quality, and a right-on-the-edge-of-chaos energy that is completely missing from their other albums. 'Made Me Do It' was solid to be fair, but after that - Meh.

Made Me Do It is the only one I bought, the first few tracks are decent but it runs out of steam fairly quickly. Never heard the debut in full, I must give it a proper listen. Pure Slayer worship, if memory serves.

Yeah, a lot of Slayer. Some Dark Angel style riffs thrown in there too.

Axis of Advance - Obey

I always go back to those two at least once a year

Killer albums, preference for Obey
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Norse

Free: Fire And Water

DOKKEN - Tooth And Nail (1984)

Disincarnate - Dreams Of The Carrion Kind

Long time since I had this on. Good stuff. Has a pretty good mix. Bass is pretty audible etc.

Vircolac - Veneration

The whole thing is class but the bass playing on this really stands out for me.

Cynic - Focus
Afterbirth - In But Not Of

Haven't listened to Focus in years. One of the best metal albums ever regardless of genre.

Afterbirth are a weird hybrid of brutal/slam and technical death metal. Not my usual bag but there are some unexpected moments of beauty in this album.

KISS - Alive! (1975)

Marduk - Rom 5:12
Obituary - Dying of Everything
Oath SC - Hallowed Illusions
Enslaved - Yggdrasill

Empyrean Grace- Bestowment of the Seraphic Key
