Inter Arma - "Paradise Gallows".

Never gets old, a mental mix of styles across the whole album but ridiculously good.

The albums either side of it are also deadly. As you said, great mix of styles and they always have savage production.

Yup they are both class too, probably love Sulphur English as much as PG really, it's every bit as good.  I see they are due a new album this year too, there was mention of it on Roadburn's announcement they are playing there.

Fórn - "The Departure Of Consciousness"
Coffin Break - "Rupture"

Gang Green - You Got It
Danzig - III and IV

Judas Priest - Painkiller
Coroner - Punishment For Decadence
Running Wild - Port Royal
Running Wild - Black Hand Inn
Testament - Low
White Zombie - La Sexorcisto

Also checked out some Jason Richardson stuff for the first time yesterday. Not for me.

Reverend Bizarre - Crush the Insects
Cirith Ungol - Dark Parade
Lucifer - V
Possessed - Seven Churches

Drowned - Procul His

How's the new Lucifer ?

Lamb Of God - Ashes Of The Wake. Hasn't listened to this for a long time. Holds up well.

Madball - Demonstrating My Style.

Madball - Look My Way.

Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness 10/10
The band deliver their motherlode with their strongest collection of songs to date complemented with an equally strong aesthetic and sound.

Gamma Ray - No World Order 9/10
Perennial pumpkin botherer Kai pulls out a barnstorming array of hook laden Power Metal anthems.

Blut Aus Nord - 777 Cosmosophy 8/10
An effortlessly classy end to the trilogy, often hearkening back to the Memoria Vetusta days.

Helloween - 7 Sinners 7.5/10
An unexpectedly dark, muscular and intense album from the Germans that delivered in spades.

Belinus - Battlechants 7/10
If any of ye are on here, apologies for having this on the arse end of a C90 after Gamma Ray but I'd gladly pick up an OG if there are any floating?

Cryptopsy - Cryptopsy 7/10
The Canadian's apology album would have merit in The Return To Form thread though some may not have forgiven them..

Down - The Purple EP 7/10
Down do what Down do, just not as good as before and with Phil's voice on the way out

Heresiarch - Death Ordinance 6.5/10
Devastatingly heavy, militaristic Black Death that could use a few more standout riffs and moments.

Sammath - Across The Rhine Lies Only Death 6.5/10
Exact same applies here as Heresiarch, it's a hell of a racket though.

Elixir - Voyage Of The Eagle 5/10
The most painfully bland and bang average ye olde english hard rock/metal album you coul....ah it's too boring to write about

Such a savage album, still regularly listen to it since release.

I have it on right this minute, definitely one of their best.

Think it is pretty good after a couple of listens.  I love her vocals anyway and plenty of good chunky riffs mixed in with all the melody.

Heavy Sentence- Bang to Rights.
I want to like this more than I did because they have such a cool aesthetic. It's alright but just not all that exciting, especially considering I bought it alongside the most recent Megaton Sword, who are leagues ahead.
