Sam Rivers from Limp Bizkit, 48.

Nothing yet... Don't think he'd been ill.

He had kidney disease I heard?

Oh right - hadn't seen that and he was touring away I think?

He'd a liver transplant a few years ago due to alcoholism from what I remember.

Limp Bizkit were one of those formative bands for me so I always have a soft spot for them, he was a great bassist too. Absolutely no age to go

Sure I suppose I'll listen to a bit of Bizkit today so. Not that I usually need an excuse lol

Ok, just read there didn't realise he wasn't touring with them. I don't need an excuse either, caught them live a few times and it's always been great craic. Whatever you think of them the musicianship is legit. Wes and Sam are serious players

I notice most obituaries for hin on socials are prefaced with..whatever you think about Limp Bizkit...

A band it's very easy to dislike, for sure, but he was a good bass player for sure.

I can't say I've heard anything from LB bar the debut which was fun for five minutes when it came out, but not one I ever felt the need to buy, and a couple of their big hits. Whatever, 48 is a shocking young age to go. RIP.
