QuoteFormer SACRED REICH guitarist Jason Rainey died Monday night (March 16) of an apparent heart attack. His death was confirmed by his wife Renee Novak, who wrote on Facebook: "My husband Jason Rainey passed away a hour ago. Most likely a heat [sic] attack. They worked on him for a half hour but they couldn't save him."

Shit buzz about Rainey. Seems like a similar situation to Reed Mullin where he lost his role due to health issues (although not implying it was drink related).  He wrote a nice amount of tasty riffs in his time. RIP.

QuoteOriginal Riot guitarist Lou A. Kouvaris - who appeared on the first Riot album Rock City (1977) and wote songs for Narita (1979) - has passed away from Coronavirus (COVID-19). Riot's manager Giles Lavery says he developed symptoms over a week ago. He was 66 and passed away at his home in Long Island,

Florian Schneider from Kraftwerk died yesterday, after a short battle with cancer. 73.

A true pioneer gone there. He'd left them by the time I finally got to see them in Dublin a few years ago, but I was glad to tick one off my bucket list, they were fantastic.

A shame, I love their stuff, the Organisation album was brilliant too.

Just seen that earlier. Authoban and Computer World it is for the evening.

...

Radio-Activity was always my favourite, but most of their stuff is brilliant anyway. Electric Café and Tour De France Soundtracks weren't great but had a coupla decent tracks each.

RIP. He was great in Predator.

Better than being Jerry Lee Lewis, who was a predator.

That's 3 of them now, isn't it? Pig Champion and Jerry A went a while ago, if memory serves?

Edit: No mention of Jerry A being dead, I was sure I'd heard that recently.

Bob Kulick will rock no more.
