You can partly thank Discogs for that about 2 years ago they decided to go the eBay route and also take their cut out of the postage cost plus they have increased the fees a few times over the last few years. They won't let people add on the fees so some will try to make up for it with the postage price.

Made my toes curl listening to No More Tears, with the spoken bit that says "going forward in reverse".

See also - System of a Down's "War" with "we must call upon our bright darkness".

Fuck off lads, it's not funny or intelligent.

The silence in response to this post is deafening  :P

This has reminded me of a peeve I have with Napalm Death using idioms, phrases, or proverbs as song titles:
'Silence is Deafening'
'More than Meets the Eye'
'When All Is Said and Done'
'Necessary Evil'
'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush'

To be fair though, Jay Kay also makes a mockery of most metal lyricists

That's correct, yes. Come over to the funky side, we're just as accepting of spas in battle jackets as spas in giant buffalo hats.

Felt like treating myself, went to the wantlist, filtered by country.

Vinted's turning into a decent alternative.

Discogs is only really handy for keeping track of the collection

Yep, vinted if you can pick up stuff from Ireland is great, postage as little as €2

The cheap postage from France has finished but if you have one of the UPS parcel yokes near ya that's still about a fiber.

I clicked on Into the Necrosphere this morning because there was an interview with Matt McNerny. I thought I might be able to phase out the cuntish tones of the 4th Spastic of the Podcasting Apocalypse and enjoy an in depth dive into the life and work of Mr. KcNerny. I was wrong. Two minutes of that South African muppet's FM104 voice, and obligatory reference to the Four Horsemen... and I had to tap out. Painful stuff.

Welcome to the hate train.

The only thing that can compete with his ego is his fucking self delusion.

Ah there's a Radical Research episode about Khost's back catalog, that'll make up for it (tho far as I know the man himself doesnt appear)
Speaking of annoying presenters, this guy is borderline

I think he's going for these videos more for the true crime aspect (The Nodveidt one is very much about the legal process of the case) and they're interesting for sure, but he comes across as thoroughly up his own arse.

Any fucker who reckons there's any fat on Maiden prior to NPFTD

I watched the Nodveidt one after seeing someone take the piss out of the host on insta.  He's fairly cringe alright, but the true crime majority fan base of mammies and teen goths with lap that up😂

Tangentially related, did not realise that Therion chap is an Irish resident.
