Greetings.
I hope you are well.
Mayo based Hounds Of Dusk have released their debut EP The Tomb. It's an utterly brilliant EP from the lads. I'd say in the loosest term one for black metal fans as there's so much going on.
It's now uploaded to the Burning Metal Bandcamp page which has over 100 Irish acts already archived, and the plan is to add loads more. I already have a good list of people to approach and if anyone reading this was in an older project, if you have the WAV files I'll happily get it uploaded with all possible sales going back to you.
The plan is to build a proper archive of Irish music that John of IMA used to do. That's not any sort of disrespect towards him for context, but it's not happening now and I'm hoping to get loads on a Bandcamp page as an archive.
Check out Hounds Of Dusk for now, it's the best EP so far this year in the Irish scene for me.
Loads of compilations on there too.

The Irish Metal Archive website is still online, Phil.
https://irishmetalarchive.com/

And it's Bandcamp is still active too.
Over 300 albums, EPs, Demos up there. And hundreds more added privately till I get proper pages/profiles set up and permissions sorted.

I know I've let it sit idle for the most part of late. But I do still add new content when I feel the urge.
It's an endless task, though. And it took a lot out of me for a while. I definitely felt a lot of burnout with it.
But tipping away at it every now and then keeps me happy.

I'm happy to link to any of your releases on the website too, though. So lash on with more, Lad.

Alright man.
I know all is still online, I meant in the sense that you have archived loads of stuff on Bandcamp and I'm looking to add other stuff so there's two solid archives on Bandcamp. You've got the past well covered and I'll do the modern stuff.
Any promo you could do for Howls Of Dusk would be great man. I'm just helping them get their name out further. No financial gain on my end. Helping the lads from Mayo...

I'm biased but The Tomb is 4 lengthy tracks of highly original and unique sounding material. Very hard to categorise their sound but I get elements of Darkthrone, Celtic Frost and High on Fire mixed with Hardcore influences, and an overall Black Metal atmosphere.

Highly recommended

I think it's great but am also biased. Fair play to the lads. I did a few screams on the last track as well.

Very enjoyable stuff, fair play lads.

Aye it is well good. Good to see Finbarr back at the ould tunes.

I gave it a spin a week or two ago. It sounded OK. Must go back for another spin.

Bogger Metal. The last song is the highlight with the mantra- like vocals... I am the wolf, I run along the blade... I liked that bit. I think it's a bit all over the gaff, though, and musically a bit unimaginative. There's the bones of something in it, but i think they need to find a bit more identity as a lot of the riffs sound to me like ordinary thrash riffs. A bit of lateral thinking in future could yield interesting results, but then again, maybe bogger metal is just not for me.
