Eh, has any movement been any more politicised in the last decade or so? BLM yes, but apart from that.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

On the topic of clothing, the absolute state of so many larger bands stage clothes.

Obviously Metallica are going to get a mention here. Kirk Hammett used to be one of the coolest looking rock stars there was but in recent years he seems to dress like he's auditioning for Michael Jacksons Bad video.

Hetfield then with his patch jackets and those god awful jeans with metal studs down the legs.

I also laugh at the like of Machine Head with their coordinated ripped and patched up stage jeans that look like they came out of a skip. Although there's always something retarded to laugh at when Robb Flynn is involved.

The monster energy merch wearing cunts can fuck off too

Joey Belladonna seems to be owned by Monster, you never see him wihout a logo on display these days.

I don't mind the bigger T-shirt prints, but that's mainly due to wearing big sizes. The prints tend to look small on a size Fat Bastard T-shirt so bigger prints fill them out nicely for me.

I think too small prints are possibly worse but it really depends on the tshirt. I have a Filosofem long sleeve that had so much print all over it I feel like a gangster rapper but then I used to have a Vemod logo shirt that should have come with a magnifying glass.

I also have a few shirts that the print is very slightly angled or off centre, no one would probably even noticed but it feels like I'm losing my mind how much it irritates me looking in the mirror

I don't mind a bit of wonkiness.

Drives me mad, that. I've a couple of favourites that have gone off centre in the wash.

I have a good few shirts like that all brand new and yes it's very annoying seems to be increasing over the last few years. When it comes to shirts vinyl etc. quality control is at an all time low and prices are at an all time high.

Nah, that'd piss me off no end.

Haven't had a wonky shirt yet, jaysus that's amateur.

I like to think of it as Kirk's tiny rebellion against Hetfield.

"He's dressed like a cowboy! I'm gonna dressed like I'm heading down to the shop wearing the missus'a tracksuit top as it's lashing"

Saw a fella who was the image of Hammett in the queue in Aldi yesterday. The little girl's hair clips holing his hair back were perfect for him.

I was at Forest Fest at the weekend and saw a couple with identical battle vests that they must have bought on Temu. They were spotlessly clean and had a mix of bands like Metallica, Exploited, and fucking Marilyn Manson.

I didn't talk to the couple but they're definitely metal as fuck. Hail to the fake battle vest horde!  :abbath:

Postage costs on Discogs. Vinyl already ridiculous but CD's absolutely bonkers. Irish sellers charging 8-12 euro to send a disc down the feckin road.

Contradictory (for want of a better term) lyrics.

Made my toes curl listening to No More Tears, with the spoken bit that says "going forward in reverse".

See also - System of a Down's "War" with "we must call upon our bright darkness".

Fuck off lads, it's not funny or intelligent.
