Episode 1 there. Think there's 5 parts in total.

There's 7 available with another 5 scheduled so far.

Read somewhere that I think there's to be 12 episodes in total coming out each Saturday, but there was a break over Christmas. Hopefully they'll kick off again this week

Nice!

Just watched a very enjoyable Zappa documentary. As his wife quite rightly states early on, he was a composer.

Been looking forward to watching that. This weekend, thanks for the reminder.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago, a good watch. I'm not a fan of his music by any means (though I love Freak Out!), but he was an interesting character.

New Enslaved episode out today.

I do know there's "Lords of Chaos", but that's more of a movie. It's based off of the truth and lies.

Just watching the latest Enslaved one there, finally identified a song that I've had rattling around my head for years (Slaget I Skogen Bortenfor). I'm not a black metal fan bar a few bits & pieces, but that's a cracking tune.

I rewatched the amazing Centuries of Torment documentary the other night as I am going to see Cannibal this Friday I needed something to get me excited about it and watching this has not only got me excited but has also reignited my interest in the band. I always liked them but sort of dropped off after Kill was released but would still attend shows any time they played and I was able to go. I am liking some of newer songs from the most recent albums that are in the current setlist.

I always hated music documentaries but after watching this when it first came out it completely changed that point of view for me they did such a great job on it and I remember everyone on the old forum praising it when it was released.

I am looking for any other black / death documentaries from bands that are good if anyone knows of any? Or even any other interesting metal ones.

I remember the first part of the Kataklysm one being good even if it was only to find out what went wrong after Temple of Knowledge not really interested in that band after the mighty Sylvain was forced to leave.

I also have the recent Death on my watch list which also seemed to be highly praised on MI, just haven't gotten around to watching it yet.
Hammer Smashed Face.... (the guitar... )...

The Killing Joke documentary is very good for anyone interested. It was on prime there, watched it a good while back. Very detailed I have to say and it clocks in around 3 hours. Worth the watch for sure,  Jaz Coloman is a lunatic ha ha ha

Watching it now, they're all as nuts as each other TBH, all that 'majick' shite. The style is very annoying, all that snap editing, and the interviews look and sound like they were done on phones. Old ones. It's interesting for sure, but badly made. I'm half an hour into it and it feels like two hours.

Still, cheers for the heads up.

2nd edit: They're all lunatìcs. It could have been an hour and a half long if you cut out all the magic bollocks. Interesting in terms of the facts and timeline but after that...
