The standard icon for saving a file is a floppy disk but many people clicking on it would never have seen a real one in their lives.

An auld lad that worked with me used to think the save button in SAP was the "Honda" button...

This came up on an FB thread lately with some other observations, like someone's daughter asking them why we "hang up" on a phonecall and not exit it.
The young 'uns have to be trolling us with that kind of thing surely, had the daughter never seen TV show or movie with a phone before?

When toasting bread, is it better to go with a shorter stint in greater heat or a longer spell in lower heat?

Few more factors to weigh up for the perfect slice.  What type of bread, how thick of a cut etc.  But for my tastes a high heat at less time is ideal, you still get the maillard reaction on the outer layer and a good crispness, but keep the slice from going like a cracker and completely drying.  Best on a thick cut of white sliced pan, or a normal cut of McCambridge soda bread - but the McCambridge is best toasted in a high heat pan with a tap of butter on it first anyway.

If you go with the higher heat for a shorter time make sure you've no interruptions. The smoke alarm has been set off a few times because of that
Deep Down Six Feet, Is Where I Like To Eat

I think the chicken I had for dinner earlier was off. There are rumblings.

Who would win in a scrap,  Captain Planet or James Bond Jr.?

Captain Planet is the originator of the Good Friday Agreement, so his scrappin' skills are probably rusty as fuck.

Would it be possible to circumcise Wolverine, if one was so inclined?

Whatever happened to Leather Mike?

Reading a book  is just staring at a dead piece of wood for hours and hallucinating

Will I or wont I sell my old game consoles and games? Snes..Megadrive..N64...Gamecube....PS1/2...etc etc....I haven't played them in almost 10+ years and the chances of playing them in the future are slim (not for lack of interest just lack of time) but its like selling part of my past....

Yeah that's a tough one. Like you said you never use them and probably never will but it's purely sentimental value now. And its a case of if you can keep lugging them around or storing them somewhere for no real reason other than sentiment.
