Definitely remember the tripe, corned beef, and spam being popular in the 80s/90s. Tongue as well was more popular then . My granny would literally by it by the whole tongue and slice it up herself, which is an experience to see an entire cow tongue sitting on the counter...

Haslet though...never heard of it in my life.

Yeah, I'd happily chow down on a medley of all the food being discussed than ever have to hear that again. I stuck it on there to hatewatch and jaysus, I never realised how desperately poor u2 lyrics are. Absolutely dire 🤮

When my mother was away at Lough Derg my father would be in charge of the cooking.  I haven't touched fried liver since the early 80s
