Hmmm, maybe so but it always was a poignant number. If you haven't heard it, check it out. Just a stunning piece of music all round, but McGowan's lyrics take it to other levels.

There's some amazing a lines in that song. Not usually a big lyric man but they stand out especially in that song

Watched a performance of the Irish Rover on YouTube last night and fuck me I've never seen a lad give it socks like that on a tin whistle. Watched it twice it was so good

Who'll cry for Brush...

Apparently this is the new Kanye West album cover...look familiar to anyone  .

Just a bit!

Philip Chevron wrote that song. Great song alright.

I take it all back so

It gets even funnier than that

Also found out this morning that the long instrumental off Filosofem was sampled into a Kanye West track years ago.  Gas.

Would love to hear the Counts thoughts on that

Any of you know much about TVs? I've a problem with mine since the other night. So every 15-20 minutes, it glitches out, freezes for about 10 seconds and then restarts itself and goes again for about the same length of time. Doesn't matter what I'm streaming from - sky box, dodgy box, built in streaming - it does the same on them all, which has me thinking it's either the telly itself or maybe a network issue of some sort, router or something but I've tried the usual resetting back to factory and latest update and of course turning it off and on again but same result every time.

Can't find anything online to help, so are there any tech heads on here who might have any ideas?

I'm used to those modern flatscreen things clapping out after a year or two but I've only had this a year and it doesn't feel like a hardware problem to me. It's a 50 inch Samsung one if that makes any difference.

That kid in the darts this week. He's 16! He's fucking 16 years old, he fucking looks over 40. What a horrific life he must be leading, but will become an inspiration to many. Mental.

What the fuck! 16 with a lifetime of pints under his belt. What an athlete. I'm assuming that picture is him. I was actually watching the darts for about 2 hours earlier and I couldn't tell you who any of them were. Wasn't the worst entertainment all the same.
