Sadly, I think that this is correct. I knew that the West Ham and Leicester draws would come back to haunt them.

Liverpool just have to play their own game now but they have Barcelona twice in a week either side of Newcastle and I'd be wary of Wolves too.

Yup, at this stage I'd save the best 11 for Champions League. City not gonna slip up now.

Fair play to Liverpool and all that but it truly was an awful game of football. Can't argue though as the quarters and semis were unbelievably entertaining.

In fairness the 3 week wait didn't help and the heat and humidity certainly didn't help either.
Finals can be cagey affairs at the best of times and the fact that it was two rival teams from the same league probably meant it was never going to be a classic at all.
The semi's though, hehehe......
