It's a talented squad, no doubt about it. But  what Moyes did very well, god bless him, was shop around and get savage deals on gems like Arteta, Cahill, Nigel Martyn (better than Southall even) Coleman, Baines etc and made a team out of them. There was huge passion for the man, and he repaid us in kind.

He seems like a different man now. Sullen, self aggrandising and realising Man U needed a pigeon to take the inevitable Post Sir Alec decline. Fucking Kenwright still loves him, so it might happen.

I've been an Everton fan for 30 odd years, and this is just the latest humiliation. I was 5 when an uncle of mine got me a top from the Goodison shop, told me about Sheedy, Ball, Labone, Reid and Southall. I used to get the piss taken out of me in hurling training for wearing Everton shorts ( I pulled hard on them, obviously). But this is the lowest of the low ebbs.

The Moshiri sugar daddy dream is a nightmare now. I don't even blame Silva. There is no plan, just hire some flavour of the month like him or koeman or Martinez and sign off on duff transfer after duff transfer.

I've received about 30 WhatsApps in the last 10 minutes having the pure piss out of me. So thank you Eoin, you're the only Liverpool fan with my number who hasn't 😂😂

Had a Liverpool lad I met in the mountains in Scotland at Easter say 'your lads played like ladíns' earlier. Totally forgot about making fun of his shitty footwear and saying ' ah here they are only a ladíns boots lad' . Can't even enjoy that minor victory now.
