Meanwhile, the US somehow managed to beat Costa Rica thanks to an own goal. Absolute joke of a campaign. In the six games they've played in the qualifiers, 25 players have made their debuts. Never mind the fact there's already been the CONCACAF Nations League, and the Gold Cup this year, nah, let's start bringing players through during an actual qualification tournament that means something. And then wonder why we lose to Panama. Oh wait, bcause we're more interested in playing our third rate MLS players than the guys who actually play in proper leagues in Europe.

Just watching the Liverpool/Athletico game on BT and once again I'm thinking ( that means' I'm feeling' , if you're a young one), Steve Mc  Manaman is probably my favourite co-commentator these days, down to earth, objective, humorous ,knowledgable, and a touch of the scally. I'm not a Pool man either.
