McClean and Horgan were shocking today. Doherty had one of his better games, generally most of them did well but fuck sake should be winning that game.

I disagree about McLean, I think he still has something to offer, particularly off the bench. He's still quick, and he's so passionate in that jersey, he lifts the crowd when he is direct.

I assume the changes were made because of the quick turnaround and the more daunting task facing us next week, nevertheless replacing key players out is a big no-no, especially so if, like McGrath, they have momentum.

Ireland dominated the second half, and they were probably unlucky to go in behind at half time (Christ I couldn't believe all three of those clowns just standing off yer man). It's Azerbaijan at home though, it's the most winnable game left this campaign and it's another failure.

I simply cannot see this working out. I felt sorry for Kenny tonight, and it was nice to see him get a little succour and respite with the goal. Sadly, not for me, Jeff.

Pity the couldn't follow up the Portugal performance with a win. I still want Kenny kept though. With the group of players we have now if we had a Trap or O'Neill we'd still have shyte results but with shyte football. As least it's watchable and there are small signs of progress. Hopefully they put in a performance against Serbia.

Bazunu is some prospect, just hope he doesn't get dicked around at City and set on constant loans for years

Kennys got a reprieve for another few matches anyway, decent performance but need to build on it and not just let it be a one off

Grand to have the CL back. Laughed hard at United last night.

Chelsea game was drivel though

Three defeats out of three on the road for Celtic this year. Concerning to say the least. At least Rangers ballsed up at home, thankfully. I really like Postecoglu, adventurous manager and seems like a good lad. Notwithstanding, a bit of flexibility wouldn't go astray ya Aussie prick.

Chelsea playing a blinder so far. Fuckers. Ronaldo also doing what Ronaldo does. Another fucker. Gonna be tight up at the top for the whole season I'd say. At least City haven't hit their stride. Yet...

Dunno why you seem surprised. Even Gretna's last win at the Spaghettihad is more recent than Celtic's last win there.

Fucking ridiculous var.

Again.

Now that Mohammed Bin Salman owns Newcastle, how long before Steve Bruce loses his head?

Yup, he'll be given the heave-ho for sure. But talk about two ends of the spectrum, Ashley to Arab.

Great win last night. And enjoyable to watch.

Surely they will hold onto Bruce for a small bit longer? He probably won't have a say in transfers but they're hardly getting big names next year especially without Champions League.

I doubt it. I think they said their ambition is to win the league in ten years but privately I'd say they're aiming at 5. They'll defo get a manager with pedigree, and sooner rather than later. Maybe they could lure Ole 😂

New manager before the January transfer window I'd say.

He's the Mark Hughes of the current era, no way he survives more than a few months, if that. It's a surprise he hasn't gotten the bullet already, he's a mediocre manager.

Talk of Stevie G taking over. I thought the premier league might have learned its lesson with appointing Rangers coaches (any Everton fan over 35 will remember the grim drudgery of Wally Smith). He will bomb spectacularly if he goes. I'd love to see it personally :)
